Stay away from this store. They are clueless. As a new home owner experiencing a nightmare with the appliances that came out of here. They already replaced the fridge door twice and still dented and wont close right. Now will be waiting for another perfect door. LG apparently cant replace the door so I have to patiently wait for the door that is undented and will be closing right. During this process the technicians damaged the casework trim around.
As a customer it isnt too much to ask for a total fridge replacement as its a waste of time for me to say the least.
I picked out a gas dryer, their installers dropped the machine initially without hooking into the line so had no heat. They sent a technician and he said no gas line existed. Apparently had me order an electric dryer but then the 220 box was missing. On the day of the electric dryer install, the installer miraculously found the gas line and connected the dryer to the line.

Ordered and had installed a new Kitchen Aide refrigerator. The price was fine (and I'm a veteran but was not looking for another discount) but the install was fantastic . Their delivery guys were courteous, polite, and did a great install! I have bought my share of appliances over the years but these guys were the best! Extremely happy with the overall purchase! Really don't understand the negative reviews but then I had a career of dealing with the public and I think for the most part they have gotten worse!

It’s hard to imagine a legitimate appliance distributor failing anyone as badly as Don’s failed my family. I would not recommend Don’s Appliances to anyone.
Upon moving into our new construction home the majority of our appliances were inoperative and some experienced some potentially dangerous failures.
-The washing machine did not work and was displaying error codes.
-The fridge was dripping water onto the floor.
-The two dishwashers were not attached to the cabinets or hooked up to the water supply. When my wife opened one to load dishes, it started tipping over and nearly landed on her leg. Thankfully, I was standing next to her and helped catch it before anyone was injured.
-The first time we turned on the stove in our Wolf range it shorted out, caught fire, and was immediately out of service.
My expectation of a first rate appliance distributor would be immediate and final resolution to these problems. This was not at all the response from Don’s. Every time I called Don’s service number, the operator casually informed me that it would be three weeks before anyone could come out and this was just the way it is. She was not surprised at the abysmal failure of Don’s installation crew and was unwilling to take action beyond putting me on some nebulous list.
The only reason I was able to get any traction with Don’s service department is because I elevated my problems to the highest levels of my custom home builder. The construction manager and the head construction manager couldn’t seem to get anywhere. Only after sharing our problems with the builder’s VP of vendor relations did I get more timely attention from Don’s.
Fixing all of our appliance problems required a lot of phone calls, a bit of confrontation, coordinating house calls, and meeting teams of repair people at the house. All told, I had to take time off work to let repairmen in 5 or 6 times. Some of our appliances were out of service for weeks. Others were only fully functional over a month after we closed on the house.
One of the senior repair guys was just as frustrated with the problems as we were and he shared possible a reason for all the trouble. It seems that Don’s appliances are not always installed by actual Don’s employees. Apparently, they contract with a third party who shows up in an unmarked rental truck. I did not see this personally at my house, but it would explain the multitude of problems. Sub-Zero Wolf suggested that third-party installers would violate their agreement with Don’s (who are some sort of preferred Wolf distributor). Our builder tried to write this off as an effect of the labor shortage.
I wish I had asked more questions about Don’s installers / service policy and had personally been present during installation. This wasted time would have been minor compared to fixing it all after the fact. If I ever need to buy appliances as a private individual, with no backing from a big builder, I would never buy from Don’s.

Satisfied with device and installer. One thing really bothered me. My husband is a Vet. When we bought our stove,we got the Vet discount but when we bought the dishwasher,we didn't. Answer we got was that this was a huge sale price reduction and therefore,no Vet discount. This is the lamest excuse. They are still making a profit. Last time for Don's.

Refrigerator purchased on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.Friendly sales people! Mitchell and Brandon did a great job ! Great teamwork ., They knew how to deliver and set it up properly in a timely manner !

Bought $11,000 + of Kitchen appliances from Don's. Most are Jenn-Air Product. The Refrigerator has had major service twice. The wall oven has had the master board replaced once, the 30" induction cooktop has had a replacement of the master board once and is currently non functional for the same problem. The last repair lasted less than a month. The Air switch for the Garbage Disposal was replaced with in three months of install, according to them this item never breaks. Contacted Don's about excessive service during the first break down of the induction cook top, was referred to a Don's sales rep that would attempt to get an extended warranty. After the first call this person was never heard from again. Monday this week went into the Don's store in Canonsburg, the induction cook top is not functional again for the same error code as first service, repair lasted less than 2 months. Was referred to another sales that handles excessive service, different than the extended warranty guy first referred to, promised to process with Jenn - Air replacement of all items. He would hear back in 1-3 business days and text me the response. 2 days after suspense and no contact. Was asked by this individual not to process work order for service. So not only did he not respond as he offered, I have non functional cook top that will require two service calls to fix. Hopefully the fix will last more than two months.
Bottom line I should have realized something was wrong when I did not receive the rebate amount as promised by salesman. The service department does excellent work, but does not respond to email service requests in 2 hours as stated last time it took 2 days. The sales staff is aggressive presale, but the support with problems post sale with product manufacturer is non existent. I would never recommend Jenn-Air products to anyone. Finally, I would not recommend Don's, the follow up after sale is not what you expect. The primary reason we went to Don's was support a local business and we had bad post purchase experience with a big box store. Figured I would get better from Don's. Should have saved the money at the big box.

Steer clear of this company. I bought from them trying to support a local business and feel incredibly disappointed and scammed. The details follow, but ultimately you’d be better off going with a larger, more reliable company. Here’s what happened: We purchased a mattress from Don’s that we were told was being cleared out because of updates to the “style” through the manufacturer. The model we were shown was as good as new; a $2,500 mattress that was discounted to $1,200. When it was finally delivered (a week and a half later than promised) it was filthy and had a hole in the side. Not only did they bait-and-switch us, the only thing they offered was an insultingly small amount of money back for us to just keep the greasy, damaged mattress or to replace it at an up-charge of $300+. Once we demanded our money back, it took two weeks for them to come get it and process the refund. We were without a mattress for a month because of Don’s nonchalant negligence. Avoid this company at all costs. Go somewhere more reliable. After this was resolved, we ordered from a larger company and had a perfect, sanitary, new mattress within a couple of days for around the same price.

We purchased first a Bosch dishwasher and more recently a Miele fridge from Don's as part of an ongoing kitchen project. Not only were the sales people friendly and helpful, but I am extremely impressed with the timeliness of deliveries and the skill and helpfulness of the delivery and installation crews.
Both deliveries happened well within the proposed window with ample communication to confirm arrival, which is critical as since we are going piece by piece there is no worksite full of people to take delivery whenever it turns up. They were also quite understanding about having to postpone the fridge delivery due to family health issues.
The dishwasher we installed ourselves as we have previous experience with Bosch dishwashers, but we were very pleased with how they handled the fridge install - unlike a typical new kitchen install, we wanted the fridge temporarily placed in the existing opening in our ~1960s kitchen, as we plan to redo all the cabinets at a later date. They clearly were very experienced with the installation requirements for the fridge and quickly worked out a way to get it in place and safely secured even though we didn't have a typical prepared opening for a counter depth fridge, and they made sure it was safe and working properly before leaving even though it was their last job on a Friday.
We will definitely be going back to Don's when we are ready to replace the current range and for other future appliance needs. I particularly liked that at both the home show and the showroom, we never felt like they were trying to push a specific brand or item on to us because that is what they get the best commission from or have extra of, or what have you. They listened to our desires and needs and took plenty of time to show us what they had available and investigate when needed if we had specific questions about a product. I really feel like for future purchases they will help us find something we ate happy with, not just try to make a quick sale.

I heard about Don's Appliances through a friend who purchased his appliances at one of the warehouse sales. My timing was off, unfortunately for the warehouse sale but I couldn't have been more pleased with the purchases I made and the service I received from my sales rep, Samantha Fitz-Roy!
I was interested in the warehouse sale because I heard of great discounts I could receive and although better discounts could've been received, I would not have been able to hand select the products I "really" wanted or have been able to determine the packages available to best fit within my budget. This is where Samantha was a tremendous help and made everything so simple for me. She was able to explain to me in detail, (way more than I could've ever learned on my own) the pros and cons with each product based upon what I was looking for and what I wanted.
The purchase of my appliances was the most difficult aspect of the entire project because once the purchase was made, I never had to think or worry about the next steps. Samantha was on it from the very beginning by letting me know the next steps, e.g. delivery date, rebate information, installation date, warranties, and not to mention all of the random questions I would come up with.
Samantha performed all of this with the utmost professionalism and did so with a smile and positive demeanor.
I can go on and on about my experience with Don's and particularly with Samantha, but my advice is to find out for yourself. If you are considering the purchase of any appliances, large or small, I would undoubtedly urge you to call Don's and ask for Samantha!
