The Westmoreland is hiring for two part-time positions: > Visitor Services Assistant Manager (part time): The person in this role supervises the Visitor Experiences staff, setting the example for excellent customer service, while ensuring a secure and safe facility for our visitors and the protection of the Museum’s assets and collection. This candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for art and a commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all museum visitors. > Museum Shop Assistant Manager (part time): The person in this position plays a crucial role in the operations and success of our Museum Shop and Cafe while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time position. Artist Opportunity! The Westmoreland seeks proposals from artists living or working in Westmoreland County for the Bells Across PA art series to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the United States in 2026. Submission deadline is April 10. The selected artist will execute their designs on a three-feet tall, ready-to-paint, fiberglass bell sculpture, and will be paid a $1,250 honorarium by America250PA to cover materials, and to compensate their time and labor. Bells will be on display either inside or outside the Museum from December 31, 2025 through December 31, 2026.
